Google Shopping
An effective Google Shopping campaign is a process based on a long-term strategy and optimization. We are happy to tell you about our experience and standards in handling Google Shopping campaigns.
Below are the questions our clients ask most often:
Why should I outsource Google Shopping?
Google Shopping is an advertising system that is constantly evolving. Throughout the year, Google makes hundreds of changes to its advertising policies, the Google Shopping interface and the campaign types available. We monitor these new developments and implement them in customer accounts as necessary. Our Certified Google Shopping Specialists know how to build a successful campaign and how to optimise activities while maintaining ad quality.
You can therefore expect more clicks from a company specialising in Google Shopping within a planned budget than you would get from a campaign run on your own.
What makes a campaign run by a Certified Google Shopping Specialist different?
In implementing Google Shopping campaigns, the key aspects are expertise, experience and regular work on the account. The Google Shopping Specialist does not only use the available Google tools. Thanks to their experience gained through numerous campaigns, they know which of the available solutions are most likely to contribute to the success of a given client. The success of the campaign is ultimately determined by details: regularity of changes, tidiness of the account, high quality of key phrases. The role of the Google Shopping Specialist is to run campaigns in such a way as to generate as many relevant visits to the website as possible.
What opportunities does Netmove have as a Google Partner and CSS Shopping Partner?
As a Google Partner, we have access to exclusive knowledge and best practices of the Google Shopping system. Google keeps us up to date, we know what changes will be introduced in the near future and we can introduce them to our clients' accounts quickly - before the competition. Our sales departments receive training from Google Trainers, and Google Shopping specialists receive instant support from Google's dedicated team.
Google Shopping vs SEO - which to choose and when?
Google Shopping is perfect for when you can't wait for SEO results, for seasonal campaigns and to reinforce the marketing effect achieved through positioning.
A Google Shopping campaign can start within 5 days.
This is because you need to prepare the entire campaign structure and prepare all the tools in Google:
- setting up accounts in Google Merchant Center and Google Ads,
- setting up Google Analytics statistics
- product feed configuration
- approval of products by Google (2-3 days)
Whereas website positioning is based on long-term actions and haste is not advisable here.
Who will see my advertisement and where?
All people searching for your product range on Google will see ads for products from your store.
Product ads will appear in Google sponsored results when a customer searches for your products.
Importantly, your ad will be seen by users using different devices - computers, tablets and phones.
Our specialists will set up your ad campaign and optimise it regularly to achieve the lowest possible transaction acquisition cost!
How to monitor the results of a campaign?
Each month you will receive a report on your Google Shopping campaigns, which we send straight to your inbox. It will tell you how many clicks and views your campaign had, its CTR and costs. Remember that every click on a product ad takes the user to your store, so you gain a potential new customer every time.

What is the minimum budget for a Google Shopping campaign?
The minimum budget for promotion is, in our experience, $1000, but this depends on the number of products in your store.
The $1,000 price tag is based on each promoted product receiving several clicks on its ad, which makes it possible to compare product popularity and sales. These indicators are the basis for campaign optimisation. For example: 1000 products * 5 clicks * $0.2 = $1000
How much does a click cost?
The cost of a click on an advertisement depends on:
- the maximum rate you are prepared to pay per click,
- rates auctioned by competitors,
- developed keyword quality score.
In the Google Shopping system, a virtual auction between all advertisers takes place every time customers type in your keyword or product name as a query.
If you have determined that you are willing to pay a maximum of $1 per click and a competitor for the same keyword is willing to pay $1.01, the competitor's ad will appear higher.
Please remember, however, that the maximum rate per click set is not the only factor affecting the position of your ad. The optimisation efforts of Certified Google Shopping Specialists aim to reduce campaign costs as much as possible, while maximising click-through rates and maintaining appropriate ad exposure.
How many clicks will fit into the budget?
Before launching a campaign, we are unable to determine the exact number of clicks we can achieve within a given budget.
These costs change dynamically and we can only estimate them initially based on the suggested rates in the tool: Google Shopping keyword planner.
So if your budget for clicks is $1,000 and Google's suggested average rate per click is $1, you can expect about 1,000 clicks on your ads.
Always remember that these are only estimated costs based on the average price of these keywords over the last 12 months.
The final number of clicks and costs are influenced by changing trends, seasonality of keywords, current competition and regular and professional campaign optimisation.
